About Me
Designing Systems
With Purpose
I’m Anka Abdullah, a backend developer with over five years of hands-on experience building enterprise applications at national scale — BRImo at Bank Rakyat Indonesia, risk simulations at Bank Syariah Indonesia, and trade services at the Ministry of Finance.
I work mostly in Go and Node.js, and I care about the unglamorous parts: code another engineer can read, tests that catch regressions, queries that don’t time out, and documentation that answers the next question.
Day to day: Go with Echo, Node.js and TypeScript with NestJS, Kafka and Redis/Valkey for messaging and caching, MySQL and PostgreSQL, GraphQL and REST, Docker for delivery, and Azure where the cloud matters.
